Sustainable Logging that Benefits Your Land.

At Coblentz Bros, we know that smart logging practices maintain sustainable forests through selective logging. Timber is a renewable resource. This fact makes forest timber products one of the greenest materials available. Which is exactly why we go one step farther and harvest timber in such a way that is conducive to its replenishment.

Our goal is to harvest timber in a way that doesn't destroy the overall health of the forest. This can be done cutting down older trees to encourage diversity and growth as well as thinning tree populations in some areas to promote healthier growth.

Ohio Logging Locations

You can sell your timber to Coblentz Bros in an area from Northeastern Ohio all the way down to the central part of the state. Our headquarters are nestled in the countryside of Northeast Ohio in the heart of Amish Country.

We regularly buy timber from many counties here in Ohio. See the accompanying Ohio county map for areas we are actively buying timber from.

Improve Your Land with Timber Harvesting

When forests are well managed, they provide clean air and water, homes for wildlife, beautiful scenery, places for recreation, and more than 5,000 products we all use every day. When they are not well managed, forests are often unhealthy and unproductive due to overcrowding, disease, insects, and competition for light, water and nutrients.

In order to maintain and improve the health and productivity of a forest and achieve the landowner’s objectives for the property, we use sustainable harvesting methods, such as select cutting. This allows us to minimize erosion, protect your streams, and improve the access you have to your land.
